Muzammil Hussain
Storyteller of the Taj Mahal & Curator of Cultural Experiences in India
My journey
I am a PAN India Tour Guide and passionate storyteller, certified by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Based in Agra, specializing in bespoke private tours of the Taj Mahal, and luxury journeys across India with 15 years of experience hosting discerning global travelers from around the world, offering them not just access to India’s most iconic destinations, but a deeper understanding of its culture, history, and soul.
Raised in the presence of the Taj Mahal, my understanding of India extends beyond history — it is shaped by lived experience, cultural depth, and formal academic training. I hold a master’s degree in history from Aligarh Muslim University, one of India’s most prestigious institutions, which further refined my perspective on India’s rich and layered past.
From Guide to Curator of Experiences
Over the years, I have personally hosted diplomats, global entrepreneurs, luxury travelers, and cultural connoisseurs — earning recognition for my storytelling depth, discretion, and seamless execution.
My work has been recognized in Forbes India (2024), and The Gallivanter's Guide (2025), a prestigious travelogue from the UK for the captivating storytelling.
Taj & Adventures of India is not a tour company in the conventional sense — it is a bespoke travel atelier, dedicated to crafting private, immersive journeys across India. It has evolved into designing experiences — where a sunrise at the Taj Mahal becomes a private moment, where a walk through Amber Fort becomes a story, and where travel across India feels seamless, personal, and refined.
Unlike large operators, I remain personally involved in crafting and overseeing every journey.
Each itinerary reflects:
Insider heritage knowledge
Access beyond guidebooks
Refined luxury standards
Cultural authenticity without compromise
At its core, the concept is simple:
To transform travel in India from sightseeing into a deeply personal, refined experience.
